Wedding Flowers at Rockbeare Manor

Wedding flowers at Rockbeare Manor. Tucked away in the beautiful Devon countryside, Rockbeare Manor served as the perfect setting for Donovan and Lucy’s stunning August wedding. As the chosen florist, it was an honour to bring their celebration to life with floral designs that captured the essence of love amidst Devon’s natural beauty.

The Bridal Party: Elegant Touches

The bridal bouquet was the perfect example of this timeless elegance. We crafted it with reflexed white Playa Blanca roses, adding a contemporary twist to a classic design. The bouquet, with its stunning composition, was nothing short of breathtaking as it complemented Lucy’s elegant gown, making her entrance unforgettable.

Instead of the traditional pinned corsages for the Mums, we decided on wrist corsages, which added a unique yet simpler touch. These delicate floral pieces were a beautiful way to include the Mums without overwhelming the overall aesthetic. The wrist corsages were elegant, refined, and worked beautifully with the bridal party’s look, blending effortlessly into the sophisticated theme of the day.

Additionally, for the flower girl, we created a heart-shaped floral wand adorned with floating ribbon, adding a playful yet pretty element to her role. This whimsical design not only looked charming but was also a fun accessory for the flower girl to hold as she walked down the aisle, bringing a touch of youthful joy to the ceremony.

For the groom and his two best men, we reimagined the buttonhole as a floral pocket square, adding a modern and stylish twist to the traditional buttonhole. These three floral pocket squares stood out as a unique element, reflecting the groom’s distinctive taste. In addition to these, we created seven more traditional buttonholes for the remaining members of the bridal party, ensuring that everyone had a floral piece that tied into the overall aesthetic while maintaining a timeless look.

Ceremony Florals: Sustainability and Style

We created a charming arrangement for the registrar’s table, which was later repurposed for the sweetheart table during the reception. This dual-purpose design added an element of sustainability, ensuring that no floral beauty went to waste. Each element was thoughtfully designed to create cohesion, from the ceremony to the reception, without compromising on style.

To further enhance the ceremony space, we crafted small chair posies to adorn the aisle chairs. These subtle arrangements not only added to the elegance of the room but also guided guests’ attention up the aisle, where the couple exchanged their vows, surrounded by love and nature’s beauty.

Reception Decor: Refined Beauty

For the reception, we opted for understated sophistication with small bud vases featuring a mix of reflexed roses, tall white delphiniums, and delicate dendrobium orchids. These arrangements, scattered across the tables, added a refined yet minimalist touch, allowing the beauty of the venue to shine through.

Staircase Installation: A Natural, Minimal Design

At the base of the staircase, we created a beautiful, natural-looking floral installation that appeared as though it was gently growing from the ground. The arrangement subtly wound around the bottom of the curved banister, giving the entrance a soft, organic feel. Though minimal in design, the florals were eye-catching and created a welcoming, romantic touch as guests entered. This understated approach enhanced the overall elegance of the space without overpowering it, making it a perfect complement to the venue’s natural beauty.

Working with them was a joy, and their wedding was a true celebration of love, beauty, and the magic that happens when nature’s elegance meets human creativity.
